About this spot
The Bells entry sets this site apart from a straight Blue Hole drop-in: you descend through a narrow chimney in the reef, emerging on the outer wall at around 26 m before working your way back up and into the hole itself. That sequence gives the dive a distinct structure and rewards divers who take it slowly. Visibility consistently reaches 25 m, and with no current to manage, the focus stays entirely on the wall and what lives on it. Marine life here tends toward the cryptic and predatory. Great barracuda hang in open water near the rim, often motionless and indifferent to divers. Honeycomb morays occupy crevices along the wall, and common octopus are reliably found tucked into the rubble at shallower depths during the return. Water temperature ranges from 21 °C in winter to 28 °C in summer, and the site is diveable year-round, making timing largely a matter of personal preference. Intermediate certification is appropriate given the depth and the chimney navigation at the start.
