About this spot
Dahab's Blue Hole is one of the most-dived sites in the world — and one of the deadliest if dived recklessly. The recreational route enters at the Bells (a chimney swim-through) 50m north, drops to 28-30m along a vertical wall, and exits through the Blue Hole saddle at 6m. Done this way it's a relaxed, scenic wall dive with anthias, lionfish, and turtles. The infamous Arch at 56m is for technical divers only — multiple memorial plaques along the cliff testify to what happens otherwise. Shore entry, sandy beach, easy logistics.
