  • Wow that's amazing, I love all the reef formations and caves. I saw the bear , lol. Did you see any spotted flounders in the sand. I saw one years ago when I was there. I seen a big triggerfish I actually grabbed by its forked tail years ago at palos verdes

  • I covered quite a bit of sand but did not see any flatfish on this trip. It seems like amazing topography is the name of the game on the North Shore. I think the winter storms flatten a lot of the corals so you are diving rubble and natural topography. I freedove Shark's Cove and the topo was unbelievably cool, you have to check it out. North Shore thumbs up.
