About this spot

Survival offers diving in Indonesia with accessibility throughout the year. The site has attracted growing community interest, with three videos documenting dives there. While specific depth, difficulty, and visibility data aren't yet catalogued, the location provides opportunities for exploration. Coral health is being monitored as part of regional bleaching awareness efforts. The site sits outside a marine protected area, which may influence its management and access. Community contributions have begun building a knowledge base for divers considering the location. As more divers visit and document their experiences, the profile of Survival continues to develop. The combination of year-round conditions and emerging documentation makes it worth investigating for divers seeking less-crowded Indonesian sites.

  • I think you both ought to buy a sailboat and sail the world. I watch many channels doing this and each one of them is fantastic.

  • Halmahera… My first trip there was back in 2014, and I was completely blown away by the world-class diving and the endless rocks and underwater pinnacles waiting to be explored. Even just looking at the marine charts made me incredibly excited. Today, Halmahera is finally starting to gain recognition as one of Indonesia’s top diving destinations. If any of you would like to explore North Maluku,

  • Another epic adventure with you, dear Sam! Reaching Wayag is something no one can stay indifferent to — it's hands down the most breathtaking and remote place I’ve seen in all my expeditions across Indonesia. Our next expedition to Wayag aboard Jakare is set for April 2026 — only 4 spots left! And let’s not compare Misool and Wayag… they’re both must-sees, each in their own magical way. If you enj

  • Hopefully Raja Ampat remains a hidden gem and will be spared forever from mass tourims. I saw in Maldives how this affects the ecosystem where careless tourists walk on the coral canopy, break off the corals with their fins, touch and collect everything and 20 speedboats chase manta rays to drop of 200 tourists in life jackets. Seeing you diving with your arms crossed I know you are a professiona
