About this spot

CB Profundo Azul sits on Spain's dive map as a year-round accessible location. The site has generated 12 recorded species observations from divers, indicating a working baseline for marine life. Three community videos document dives here, giving prospective visitors visual reference for conditions and what to expect underwater. The site operates outside marine protected area boundaries, so standard Spanish diving regulations apply. While specific depth, visibility, and temperature data aren't formally recorded in current records, the species documentation suggests established dive traffic and enough clarity for meaningful underwater observation. Divers planning a trip should verify current conditions with local operators before arrival. The year-round accessibility makes CB Profundo Azul flexible for travel planning, though Spain's Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts see seasonal variation. Community videos are your best resource for recent intel on visibility and bottom composition. Both recreational and technical divers frequent Spanish sites similar to this one. Always confirm your gear, training level, and local dive protocols before entering the water.

  • I was fortunate enough to meet Jason several years ago when he came to our shopping centre to erect rope access equipment. I was lucky enough to not only meet him but to discuss what he did in his spare time to gain his extraordinary experience, so you can imagine my surprise, delight and admiration when a few years later he took part in one of the most extraordinary rescues the world has ever see
