About this spot

Mairie II offers divers a chance to explore a wreck in French waters without seasonal restrictions. The site welcomes visitors throughout the year, making it a reliable choice for planning dive trips on your own schedule. While specific depth and visibility data aren't documented here, the location maintains healthy coral conditions with no bleaching stress reported. The wreck provides structure-focused diving with opportunities to observe marine life adapted to artificial reef environments. Three community videos document dives at this site, offering visual reference for what to expect underwater. The area sits outside any marine protected zone, allowing standard dive access without additional permitting constraints. Divers exploring Mairie II should check with local operators for current conditions, recommended depths, and any seasonal considerations specific to the location. The stable year-round conditions make this a solid option for both planning ahead and booking last-minute trips when other sites might be weather-dependent.

  • So nice to see your report! In this way we experience our journey one more time. We were in Italy in April and are now back in the Netherlands by boat. Have a safe trip to both of you and we hope to see you again! Ruud & Bep.

  • It´s a pleasure to see all this places again, after staying there 2021. At this time the current was much faster than I have seen on your videos. There are 3 locks on the Main_ Donau Canal, each has 24,67m high. thanks for sharing your journey.

  • Absolute nerves of steel, I can’t imagine going through these tight underwater passages, especially knowing three other man have died right there. Much respect to the diver
