About this spot

Fosse à plongeon, located in France, offers divers access to an accessible dive site with documented species activity. The site has generated enough community interest to support nine recorded species observations and three video contributions from visiting divers, indicating a healthy ecosystem worth exploring. Divers planning a visit should note that current data on depth, visibility, water temperature, and specific difficulty ratings are limited. This makes the site suitable for divers willing to gather their own conditions report before descent or connecting with local dive communities who frequent the spot. The site operates outside a marine protected area, which simplifies access logistics. Year-round diving potential means flexible trip planning depending on your schedule. The combination of species diversity and video documentation suggests the site delivers consistent encounters with marine life, though specific details on what species dominate or when they're most active require direct research with recent visitors.

  • Hey, Thank you Xavier...still my first fan ! ;-) Thanks for the thumbs up and the comment, even if I'm not sure to catch it... Do you mean that the video "isn't so interesting" before 3:05 ? Not absolutely wrong, but it's also a way to show my co-divers... Concerning the HD, it's in 720 px, because I used the 720p / 60 fps setting of the HD2, in order to get "slow motion" at the beginning. May

  • Thanks Xavier for this nice comment ! I agree, 2:33 is the "best part / travelling". I felt as I was an astronaut (my main child dream...), leaving the spacecraft and floating in space... During the dive, the GoPro "refused to work" after we reached the bottom. In fact, the warm temperature of the water (30°C) + leaving it "ready to shoot" ...led to a "temperature break". No damage, but I wasn
